Villa Cassia. New 3 bedroom villa great location.

We were taken care of and we had a lovely stay. Positive: I loved the layout. Everything was inside the villa. It seems there are many other villas with separate bedrooms which I don’t like as much. There was an inside / enclosed living / kitchen space - also not always the case. So it was pretty good for mozzie control. Lovely light and bright layout. 2 living spaces. 3 en suites. We were supported by our host who organised washing, nails and other bits and pieces. Negative: The location was the main thing for us. It’s close to an excellent cafe (Livingstone’s) and some other food options, also a good supermarket and ATM. But it’s about 20 min walk into the main bit of Ubud. That’s ok for a parent on a power walk, although the footpaths aren’t great so need your full focus. Not so good for lazy teens who decided they didn’t want to walk in or catch a car (which is very easy to do).

Positive: The villa is nice and somewhat looks like the photos. Quite central to Ubud Centre Negative: We had many issues with animals coming into the villa e.g. lizards and frogs. We had asked for the villa to be fogged/fumigated before our arrival but it clearly wasn’t done. Communication wasn’t great with staff but the stay wasn’t completely horrible.

Positive: The team was very responsive . Very helpful. The property could do a little maintaince. About 20 mins walk to central ubud. Overall, good value for the price
